Stephan, in your view, what developments particularly shaped fiscal year 2025/26?
Despite a challenging economic environment, our colleagues demonstrated an exceptional level of commitment. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all employees for this. With revenue of EUR 376.2 million, we once again achieved a very strong result. At the same time, we were able to increase our investments in receivables and real estate to EUR 256.3 million.
Given the maturity and intense competitiveness of the Central European markets, we are particularly pleased with the high level of investment activity in Germany. There we acquired unsecured receivables portfolios comprising a total of 1.1 million receivables, including a single portfolio containing several tens of thousands of receivables. This represents one of the largest non-performing loan (NPL) transactions EOS has completed in Germany to date – a truly impressive achievement!
What about the other markets?
We were able to achieve positive results there as well. In Slovakia, for example, we acquired two extensive unsecured receivables portfolios after a challenging fiscal year 2024/25. We also further expanded our portfolio by investing in bridge loans. Bridge loans provide companies with short-term financial flexibility, helping them bridge financing gaps and maintain business operations and planned investments until long-term financing is in place.
Consolidated revenue by region
In fiscal year 2025/26, the EOS Group was able to maintain the previous year’s high revenue level. Consolidated revenue increased overall by 1.4 percent to 1.1 billion euros.
Central Europe is the highest-revenue region, contributing a share of 35.2 percent of total revenue, equivalent to EUR 376.2 million. This development was driven primarily by positive performance in the German market, where substantial investments in receivables portfolios were once again made. Investments compared with the previous year also increased in Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Slovakia.

Sustainable success is driven not only by investments but also by operational development. Are there any progress updates to report at the moment?
Yes, in the past fiscal year we made significant operational progress that we can be proud of: We further automated our processes in Switzerland, resulting in a noticeable increase in productivity. Our approach is based on three pillars: automating manual processes, such as through API interfaces and robotic process automation in address research; providing employees with data-driven support to enable more targeted case processing; and improving case assessments through optimized decision-making logic. We also actively use AI to continuously review and further enhance the effectiveness of our measures.
We were able to further expand our expertise in restructuring receivables secured by real estate in Slovenia, thereby bolstering our competitive position in this area even further.
Since 2019, the EOS Group has been committed to promoting financial education for children and young people through the finlit foundation. How are things going there?
The finlit foundation reached a special milestone in the past financial year. Through its financial education initiatives ManoMoneta and OhMoney, the foundation has already reached 229,000 children and young people across Europe, helping to foster their financial literacy on a lasting basis. The non-profit foundation was established by employees in Germany in 2019 and has since been committed to improving financial knowledge in order to help prevent private over-indebtedness. Today, the finlit team provides workshops for children and young people on responsible financial management and supports teachers with free and ad-free educational materials in eight European countries.
Given the mature and highly competitive nature of the markets in Central Europe, we are particularly pleased with the high level of investment in Germany, one of the EOS Group’s most important markets.
What particularly characterizes the work of the EOS Teams in their day-to-day work?
The combination of expertise, responsibility, and collaboration is a key success factor for our company. I am always especially impressed by how our teams work together across national borders to tackle complex challenges, support one another, and develop sustainable solutions for our customers. These values shape our work at EOS.
Is there a recent personal experience that has stuck with you in particular?
Yes, the marathon weekend in Slovenia last year was a very special experience for me. My Slovenian colleagues invited me to run the Ljubljana Marathon with them. After several months of training, I successfully completed the 42.2 km race.
To cover such a distance, you need a combination of endurance, focus, and perseverance. But just as important are mutual support and working toward a common goal – values that also define the EOS Group. I experienced this spirit during the marathon, and I continue to see it reflected in our day-to-day work.
Experiences like these make me especially proud of our employees. They demonstrate the dedication, motivation, and commitment that our teams bring to their work in every country where we operate.
